WEIRD’S AROUND, Zak Opaskar’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles, opens with a reception on November 18th, 2011 from 6-9 PM at Montana Store, 1528 ½ West Sunset Blvd.

WEIRD’S AROUND is a group of 40 illustrations composed of construction paper and crafted with Exacto blades and wood glue. The artist uses figurative images from daily life to not necessarily find answers but to explore subjects of human frailty. In this particular set of work, the artist investigates his own challenges regarding introspection, vanity, and selfishness.
